Some intrepid soul has created a Marvel Cinematic Universe kink meme with minimal content warnings/modding. You're only required to warn for rape/non-con, underage, and graphic violence; everything else is CNTW. Gen is allowed but porn is encouraged.

I find it hilarious that they require warnings for graphic violence when the most recent canon is 2 hours of people getting shot, stabbed, and pummeled.

LOL yes, but in comparison to the existing kink memes for this fandom, this is a bastion of sanity. I mean, for fuck's sake, Norsekink makes you warn for pregnancy, bullying, emotional trauma, oppressive and appropriative language, and genderswap. Genderswap! Who the fuck is out there like "This triggers me because one time a wizardly magically swapped my gender against my will!" That's the comm where I got lectured for pointing out that Loki gave birth to a horse (http://norsekink.livejournal.com/4976.html) in myth!canon.

Also, the Cinekink mod is considering switching over to Choose Not To Warn entirely, so it'd be a free-for-all at that point.

Yeah, fandom's gotten insane when it comes to warnings. I tend to like reading about the things people want warnings for, and I often end up disappointed because the things that enticed me were warned for turn out to be a really minor part of the story.

I hope they do decide to make it a free-for-all. A kink meme should be a place where anything goes.

Yeah, I've come to accept that the things I find a major turn-on are considered problematic by fandom at large. Someone was ranting about why one of my comics OTPs, Clint/Kate, was gross because "he's thirty-something and she's eighteen yuck" and I'm like, wait, that's the best part! I mean... uh, oops!

Looks like Cinekink has switched over to CNTW entirely, so if you're inclined to write some Winter Soldier kink, be sure and check it out.

I re-watched both the first Captain America movie and the Avengers movie today. I just might try my hand at some fic if I can get over my lack of confidence in my knowledge of the canon.

Genderswap is actually really unpleasant to be unexpectedly hit with for a lot of trans* people in particular. I think it's not necessarily about risks of triggering with kinkmemes - there aren't summaries or anything so warnings have more of a role in letting people make informed choices about what they want to spend their time on.

I'm fine with CNTW kinkmemes - I'm totally fine with CNTW generally as long as that's made clear. But I do think you're underestimating how emotionally charged genderswap tropes can be.
