Why do I have a sick sad desire for fic in which a moustache-twirling Snidely Whiplash type villain ties Ukraine to some railroad tracks, necessitating Canada coming to her rescue in Mounty garb? While yelling "I'LL SAVE YOU!"?

For some reason that sounds awesome to me. WTF brain.

Maybe France could be the bad guy in disguise trying to get the shy lovers together through ingenious but malfunctioned plot
