The Guardians' read-outs while in Xandarian prison have lots of little details about the characters, suggesting a level of research on the film-maker's parts.
Drax's species is unknown. In the comics he was originally human, but after his rebirth thanks to Titan science, his physical form may be entirely different. Wanted on 22 counts of murder.
Gamora's species is given as Zenhoberi (Zen-Whoberi in the comics), her age as 24 Zenhoberi years, and she has multiple cybernetic implants and enhancements. Wanted on 12 counts of murder.
Rocket Raccoon's homeworld is given as Halfworld, Keystone Quadrant. Lower life form -- has a tendency to bite.
Groot's species is listed as Flora colossus. No known enhancements.
Peter Quill/Starlord: Species is terran, translator implant in neck. Among his charges is one count of sex crime: Illegal manipulation of Gramosian duchess.
In other news, last night at the comic book shop where I work, a male customer came in wanting Spawn action figures. He rudely walked past me and my female co-worker as we tried to tell him to speak to our (male) co-worker who was all the way on the other side of the store. Yeah, fuck you too, buddy. Stick that Violator toy up your ass.
