W00t! Comics!

Tom Brevoort, aka the comics fairy, has a comic book giveaway every year where if you mail him a prepaid mailer, he will mail back you several randomly selected comic books from his own collection. Part of the thrill is not knowing what you're going to get! Today I received my comics in the mail from him, and they were:

New Avengers Annual
New Avengers 5, 6, 9, and 19
Batman: Manbat 1-3
Batman: Toyman 1 and 2

OMIGOD Reign: the Conqueror WTF

Chatting with remix17 reminded me of my favorite worst show of all time, Reign: the Conqueror. So he's a repost of my rant from my old lj, with some editing to update it. Read it at least for the Afroman reference.

Istanbul Photos

I still haven't gotten the photographs I took of my time in Turkey and Greece, but my friend Zoran emailed me some pictures he took of us hanging out in Istanbul and going to a Baba Zula concert.
