Avengers details I didn't notice the first time through

Back from my second viewing of Avengers!



1. When Natasha and Bruce are talking in the house in Calcutta, Bruce says something about how his condition has robbed him of so much. While saying this he wistfully rocks a cradle. Awwwwww!

2. Tony's epic eye-roll during Steve's "I got that reference!" moment.

3. The screen Natasha is looking at on the Helicarrier has a photo of Clint on it.

4. Clint putting his feet up on Natasha's chair in the shawarma scene.

*wanders in* I tend to assume the previous movies are canon for Ruffalo!Bruce to the degree that they're not totally incompatible (I'm fuzzy on details, so this is a vague disclaimer), so probably there was Betty but he doesn't feel like he can safely pursue a relationship or deal with the emotional ups and downs of children he's fully responsible for... plus there was the scene where he backed off from sex because his pulse monitor was going off.

I think I agree with you as far as Betty is concerned! But I'm not sure we were ever given evidence one way or another as far as the heart monitor goes - Ruffalo Bruce was shown to be wearing a wristwatch prominently, though, so that might be a clue? HMMM PONDERING.
