I've already bitched to redcandle17 about this, but I HATE how people dog Sebastian Stan for his alleged snaggletooth on ONTD. I have actually been watching for it in SebStan's movies, and I can't see anything wrong with his teeth. Seriously, the man has better teeth than 99.99% of humanity. But to listen to the ONTDers, anyone who doesn't have chiclets for teeth has a tragically busted mouth. SebStan grew up in communist Romania under Ceaușescu's regime, I doubt their dental care was up to First World standards.

Love love love the Paige vs. Alicia Fox feud in the WWE right now. Finally Alicia gets a chance to display some personality. I sorta ship them now, and it's just my luck that in the ONE fandom that I want femslash from, there's little to be had.

For any Sons of Anarchy fans out there, Marilyn Manson has joined the cast, playing a white supremacist character. Manson is better known as a singer, but he acts occasionally and usually picks some interesting roles when he does act -- see his supporting role as Christina, the transsexual compadre of Michael Alig in Party Monster (also, holy shit, Party Monster would've been received VERY differently if it had come out in 2013 instead of 2003, huh?).

Thanks to kinkthatwinked posting a video about to properly fit yourself for a bra, I am the proud owner of a brand-new brassiere. I had been wearing a 36C when I'm actually a 34DD! It fits like a dream. Big thanks to my wifey redcandle17 for going shopping with me and providing me with a coupon that also got me a free pair of unmentionables. Score!

I've also been spending a fair bit of time with ladyairy (we went to the Strand the other day and read Anita Blake porn out loud to one another) and hopefully theladyscribe and I will visit the Avengers S.T.A.T.I.O.N. exhibit in Times Square soon. I've been to the King Tut exhibit and the spy exhibit -- at the latter I saw the ice pick used to assassinate Leon Trotsky. I don't know about y'all, but I found that very impressive to look upon the actual ice pick that went into Trotsky's skull. Anyway, I have high hopes for the Avengers Exhibit!

I was walking in Union Square with my friend Eli yesterday when some dude approached us and asked, "Are you two brother and sister?"

Eli, because he's a mouthy ho who loves shocking people, said, "Yes, but I still fuck her anyway."

"You got room for one more?" the guy asked us. I told him I had about all I can handle, and then Eli and I walked off, laughing at this guy angling for a pseudo-incestuous threesome with us. Only in New York City, ladies and gents.

I need to stop reading ONTD. I've managed to stay away from Jezebel.com for about a year now. I can do it. ONTD pissed me off so much. I should know better than to open any posts about Mindy Kaling. Their hatred of her and the reason for it enrages me, particularly because it hits close to home.

I was harassed by black men for dating white men because apparently I, as a "woman of color" belonged to them and I should have been fucking them instead. When I read ONTD comments about Kaling, I can't help wanting the commenters to die in a fire.

I hate-read ONTD for the lolz. I love that ONTD used to rag on Chris Evans and couldn't give less of a crap about a Captain America movie. Fast forward five years and they're all begging to suck Chris Evans and SebStan's dicks.

This burgeoning concept that people are "entitled" to sex from you is super fucking gross. Tumblrinas would have us believe that denying sex to HIV+ people or trans people makes us EBIL OPPRESSORS. You or I or anyone else has the right to turn down sex for ANY reason, or no reason whatsoever, whether it's because someone has the wrong set of genitals between their legs, or their viral load status, or because we just don't like the fucking shoelaces they're wearing.

I don't get the level of cognitive dissonance necessary to scream about rape culture one minute then turn around and argue that somebody owes somebody else sex. I guess rape culture is only applicable when it involves the evil straight cis white man.

Social Justice has been making some odd bedfellows; I can hardly believe the uneasy meshing of Social Justice Warrior rhetoric with radical feminism. It's like 1984-style doubthink: "My body is sacred! YOUR body is public property! Have sex with me on demand or I'll call you a RACIST!"

Also, apparently one of SebStan's front teeth is/was kind of crooked, but now it isn't (another fandom friend confirmed that he had Invisalign retainers on during the Cap 2 press tour--she recognized the retainer-induced lisp from her own experience). Dunno why ONTD is so wound up about it, but that's ONTD for you.

ETA: Also, after watching the bra fitting video, I went and got myself fitted today at a local shop in Forest Hills and, um, I'm a 32E. I don't know how that happened, but yay?

OMG, the stories I could tell you. Eli is the only person I know who attracts more weirdness than I do.

I feel like that video makes a good point: that we have been taught to believe that anything over a C is gigantic, like gas giant planet gigantic, when in fact a set of "normal" boobs may very well be a DD or an E or an F. Some people don't wear bras and that's fine, but I LIKE wearing a bra and most of all, I like bras that fit well.
