Some upcoming comics covers I'm enamoured with

My entirely unprofessional analysis of some upcoming comic book covers.



This Punisher X-Mas cover is at once very Punisher, and also has the Christmasy details like the green/red color scheme and the snowflakes (reminiscent of bullet holes in glass).


This Iron Fist cover directs your gaze to the center, but with nifty details off to the side like the curl of Danny's headband and belt strings and his glowing fist.


I love this Blade cover for the pink scheme, the LOVE HURTS stamp, and the bouquet dripping petals (or blood droplets?).


There is something very eerie about this Runaways cover, with the swirling black ribbons and Victor's uplifted gaze. Also, Victor Mancha is a pretty pretty boy.


When used properly, whites can be just as attention-getting as blacks. Also check out the new White Tiger's confident stance.

Those are all extremely nifty covers. And I am kind of delighted and amused that Victor IS actually as pretty as Jo Chen draws, well, everyone.
