starbringer59 and I were giggling over Longmire Does Romance Novel Covers when I challenged her to write a fanfic using one of the titles from the fake covers. It had to be a decent story too, not purposefully bad fanfic, and no cheating either -- she couldn't give it a goofy title and then have the story itself be completely unrelated.
I challenged her to write a fanfic entitled "When Cousins Marry".
She challenged me to write a fanfic entitled "Kangaroo Voyeurs".
Initially, she wanted "Kangaroo Gangbang", but I refused because there's only one plot you can write with that title, and I DON'T want to write it. So now I have to write a fanfic featuring voyeuristic kangaroos, and she has to write one about kissin' cousins. Stay tuned folks. This is going to be good.

Date: 2006-03-11 03:59 am (UTC)Incidentally - in my own collection of kitsch cover art (I have 3 photo albums stuffed with examples covering different time periods!), I have found a detail of a character who simply has to be Bohemond of Antioch (at least in Anna's fantasies!). I will scan him for you later... :-D
