3 fanon 'facts'

1. Emil's father was a professor of philosophy before he fled with Emil to Britain. He worked menial jobs to support them. When Emil told him that he was joining the Royal Marines, his father wept.
2. The last person Emil would've considered a friend was blown up by a roadside bomb in Kurdistan back in '91. There's a few that think they're his friends, though.
3. The most beautiful woman he ever saw was a Congolese woman in a slum in Kinshasa. She walked with a cane because her left leg was missing, and though she couldn't have been much more than 20, three children trailed after her. He watched her walk by and never said a word to her. Emil can't remember the names or faces of most of the women he's been with, and that this memory has never faded bothers him. He tells himself that she's probably dead now.

As soon as the realization that Butch was taken sunk in, he didn't confess his love or confront his feelings or even really move on, he just ran out and found Doc Jane and suddenly they're madly in love. Uh, right. V should be smart enough to spell consolation prize.
