Saw the midnight showing last night here in NYC, and LOVED IT. I genuinely think it's better than the first. And Mickey Rourke as Ivan Vanko/Whiplash scared the SHIT out of me. I think it's because he's so burly and ugly and with the tattoos he looks like a guy you would NOT want to run across in a dark alley, under any circumstances.

I totally agree. I liked it better than the first, because it seemed to make the Marvel universe real. The characters were interconnected and it seemed like watching an alternate reality of our world instead of just some fantasy. Or, that's what I thought anyways lol.

I must admit, I didn't like it as much as the first part. Too little action, too many jokes, they wasted Black Widow and the plot was all over the place. It wasn't bad, just not as good.
